Touring Northern Israel

Capernaum was a fishing village established during the time of the Hasmoneans, located on the northern shore of the Sea of Galilee

The tour scheduled for 2023 will begin in Jerusalem and extend to the Northern region of the Galilee. I will be visiting the ancient ruins that have been preserved for thousands of years. There is a modern Israel that has been emerging since 1948 when Israel first became a state. The Golan heights is in the northern most of the country and a spectacular terrain bordered by the Kinneret mountains and the hillsides dotted with quaint towns and rolling vineyards. The best Israeli wines come from that region.

The Sea of Galilee also called Lake Tiberias or Kinneret, is a freshwater lake in Israel.

The most significant towns that I will explore will be near the sea of Galilee. Tiberias, Tzafat, Kfar nahum, and the Golan heights. These locations are rich in the traditions of Kabbalistic study. The history dates back thousands of years and there is still much to discover.
